About This Site

Finding a Montgomery County recent arrest or booking photo starts with knowing which public office holds each record. This private reference site brings the official sheriff, detention, court, custody-notification, and records-request paths together. It does not host mugshot galleries or reproduce booking photos.

Why This Resource Exists

North Carolina treats many arrest facts as public under Chapter 132, but that does not mean every record appears in one online search. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center hold county booking and custody records. The county pages reviewed for this project did not provide a current public roster, booking feed, or photo display, so a focused records request may be needed. The North Carolina courts preserve later case events, while the North Carolina Department of Adult Correction publishes records for people in state custody or supervision. This site organizes those official paths and explains their limits without publishing its own photo collection.

  • Arrested Today addresses the same-day window, while Arrest Reports covers a wider blotter period.
  • The VINE Arrest Check explains NC SAVAN custody searches, registration, and alerts.
  • City guides describe how Troy, Biscoe, and Mount Gilead police records connect to a county booking at the Montgomery County Detention Center.
  • Request guidance identifies what to ask the Sheriff’s Office for when no public online roster or photo result is available.
